Musculy is a free body-composition tracker and a waitlist for an upcoming app. It's run by BravelyTech LLC. Questions or requests: [email protected].
Your readings stay on your device
The weight, body fat and muscle readings you enter in the tracker are saved only in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are never sent to us, and we can't see them, recover them or delete them for you. Clearing your browser data, using a private window or switching devices removes them.
What we collect
- If you join the waitlist: your email address, the language of the page, and, if you choose to tell us, your smart scale brand and whether you'd pay for Pro. We also see how many readings you had saved in the tracker and over how many days (never the readings themselves), and the campaign tags in the link you arrived from, such as which ad or partner sent you. This arrives as an email to our inbox; we don't keep a separate database.
Visiting the site without joining the waitlist sends us nothing about you beyond the page statistics described below.
We don't ask for your medication, dose or health conditions, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell or share your information for advertising.
A note on health information
Joining a waitlist on a site about GLP-1 medications could suggest that you use one. We treat waitlist information as sensitive: we use it only to email you about Musculy, we don't sell it, and we delete it when you ask. This applies wherever you live, including under Washington's My Health My Data Act.
Services we use
Musculy is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare also runs the waitlist's spam check (Turnstile), which looks at your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots, and our page statistics (Web Analytics), which counts visits without cookies. Waitlist signups are delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, to our mailbox at Zoho Mail. Each of these companies processes the information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until the app launches and for up to 12 months after, or until you ask us to delete them. If we stop working on Musculy, we delete them.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll answer within 30 days.
Children
Musculy is meant for adults and isn't directed at anyone under 18.
The upcoming app
This policy covers this website and its waitlist only. When the Musculy app launches, it will have its own privacy policy, and we'll email the waitlist before you're asked to share anything with the app.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use waitlist information, we'll email the waitlist first.
